"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing" (Albert Einstein)

Work-related stress

Mental health problems are on the rise, with stress topping the list of reasons for long-term sickness absence.

Many companies have now startet implementing mindfulness at work to combat and prevent work-related stress. Examples include Google, KPMG, and Transport of London, as well as many hospital, schools and other workplace settings with high stress jobs.

Mindfulness training in the workplace helps you:

  • Reduce and prevent stress
  • Be better able to handle pressure
  • Stay focused and concentrated
  • Better utilise your cognivie resources better
  • Manage tasks more efficiently
  • Better utilize your creative potential
  • Better manage your energy levels
  • Better manage emotions and respond appropriately in social situations
  • Improve your emotional intelligence
  • Build a more positive work environment through shared values and mindfulness-skills

Mindfulness Malta offers group courses and individual coaching to companies of any size. The courses will be tailored to suit your company's needs.

Examples of services:

Introductory talk: Get to know what mindfulness is all about and how it can help your workplace. Typically 30 minutes to 1 hour.

In-house training: With this training, Anne can come either for one or more 'workshop' sessions (typically 1 to 3 hours each), or come to your workplace on a regular basis over a 1-4 months period. For the latter option the number of hours of training can be adjusted to suit your needs, but typically it consists of about 15-20 hours of training. The hours can be offered in small doses and spread out over some time (for example 2.5 or 1.5 hours per week), or in larger chuncks (for example 5 sessions of 4 hours each). This can also involve training of internal trainers which allows the workplace to continue the practice after the course has finished.

Out-of-house training: Invite your team or group of leaders to do a 1, 2 or 3-day workshop, or go the whole way and do a 1 week training course in Gozo. The training can also include other subjects of your choice, such as  "stress", "communication", "collaboration" etc.
